INDUSTRY ALERT: Invitation to meet CNC and explore co-production opportunities with France

Frédéric Bereyziat, Director of European and International Affairs at the Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC), will visit Sydney in early August to gain a better overview of the Australian industry and find out how we can encourage and develop further co-production opportunities between France and Australia.

On this occasion, Screen Australia will hold an information session about the current co-production arrangements in place between France and Australia. The session panel will include:

Created in 1946, the Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC) is a public administrative organisation set up as a separate and financially independent entity.
The principal missions of the CNC are:

• regulatory
• support for the film, broadcast, video, multimedia and technical industries
• promotion of film and television for distribution to all audiences
• preservation and development of the film heritage.

The Directorate of European and International Affairs prepares, negotiates and monitors bilateral co-production agreements.
